It is removable by unscrewing which, because of its' location, is important prior to any automatic carwash. Very expensive to replace. P.S. Clarinetist Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I changed the factory antenna to an aftermarket shark fin antenna, a la BMW, shortly after I bought the car.
