So you have a 2zz-ge Celica. I believe Injen CAI, AEM CAI, or even a K&N Typhoon would be good intakes for your car and engine. Unfortunately torque is not in abundance with either this engine or the 1zz-fe motors. There is always the exhaust & port & polish OEM header to help the engine breathe easier, but nothing really to give it torque unless you were to go Forced Induction aka Turbo, Super charge or even Nitrous. XR2003 Posted May 7, 2008 Share Posted May 7, 2008 Make sure you don't get a pre-oiled filter as that can cause problems if any of the oil gets to the MAF sensor... just want to add, that it's not the pre-oiled filter persay. it's when you clean the filter and then OVER oil it where this can happen. Follow the instructions to avoid this. Oil on the MAF sensor can lead to errtaic idling, poor mileage and worst case scenario..... a new MAF sensor.
