I live in Virginia, which, to the best of my knowledge, has adopted California emission standards. I have not been able to verify this information, and have been trying for days. I suspect that the hybrid battery in my 2013 Prius IV with 82,000 miles on it needs to be replaced, and I would like to get all my ducks in a row now. If the ten years applies, I still have 4 month left of the warranty. I believe that both Toyota and the dealership it was towed to will not live up to their obligation if the battery is still covered.
