Butch Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 I am new here. Just registered and logged in. Trying to find some information on towing a camper. Last summer I bought a new 07 4runner with a v-6. At the time I was not thinking about pulling a camper but now am wanting to tow small camper and wondering if anyone can give any statistics or info. Will they hold up OK? Does it have enough power? The book says it has 5000 lb towing capacity. Can anyone give advice? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Leighcm Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 I can tell you that Toyota as a general rule underestimates their towing capacity. For example, a Sequoia with the 4.7l V8 is capable of towing 9,000 or so pounds, but it's rated for MUCH less than that.
