Pilotguy
Just bought my 83 year old mother a 2001 XLS w/51,000 miles in great shape. She loves it adn it does drive good. I'm changing the oil/filter & Air Filter but can't get the flat screw (that's what I'm calling it) to turn to release the glove box to get behind it and change the Cabin Air Filter. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Does it take a special tool? My '03 Lexus is easy to replace. Thanks in advance. Trip
cajun bill
I'm having the same problem with my 2002 Avalon. I read one of the replies and it indicates to remove the phillips head screw that is holding the "shock absorber", but there is no phillips screw. There is only a plastic pin holding it and there is no way to get to the head of this pin. Can anyone assist please?
