michaelp
We just purchased a 2005 Highlander Limited. It only has 18,500 miles opn it and is in great shape. But I do have a question. Leather interior. The seats are only on or off-- no settings like the last car we had, I guess this may be ok, however, they do not get really warm- just comfortable. I assume that they are working properly. Any input? Also, I have noticed that if the seat heaters are on when the car is shut off, they will be on when the car is started again. Should't they shut off when the ignition is off? Thanks for your help.
Leighcm
Some of the Toyotas and even the older Lexus have a manual toggle switch just for on/off, so, yeah, it's probably fine.
White Highlander
You definitely need to turn off the seat heaters if you are parking the car.
