Schduff Posted May 25, 2022 Share Posted May 25, 2022 My neighbor borrowed my 2003 rav 4 base for a year .. in exchange to keep up with maintenance .. wanted to buy initially but never made payment he failed to .…. Fix a power steering leak .. pump sounded grinding .. know how to use a stick .. killed 5th gear .. failed to fix a rotted out muffler .. lost the serpentine belt and continued driving until the radiator blew up .. approx 10 mins while in 4 th gear (5th broken) at 70mph its a 1azfe 2.0 vvti i love this car Can I save the engine ? Toyota Owners Club Posted May 27, 2022 Share Posted May 27, 2022 Sorry to hear that, but would try to fit a new radiator and run the engine to see if it is still running strong.
