Wanderer Posted April 6, 2022 Share Posted April 6, 2022 Just noticed at the Mobil station where I have been filling up (regular 87 octane)now says 10% Ethanol. My manual says fuel is "Gasoline 87 octane. research octane 91 or higher". Confused a bit here, is gas with Ethanol Ok? Is 87 octane Ok or should it be 91 octane (Premium)? Toyota Owners Club Posted May 16, 2022 Share Posted May 16, 2022 The octane content does not change with Ethanol being added to the mix. 10% is okay to use on your vehicle but if in doubt then use premium fuel which contains less Ethanol (5% i believe) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
