how to display track/disc title on a burned cd?

i have a 2005 Corrolla CE that has a 6-Disc in-dash cd changer and i noticed that you can hit the "Title" button when a cd is in and it switch between "Disc" and "Track" on the display but will show the message "NO TITLE". i was curious if there was a way to put the information on the cd somehow when i burned it so that the player would read it. perhaps with a .CUE sheet or something?

by the way, these are regular audio cd's and not MP3.

You can do it with burned cd's if you use nero :)

I like to expend on cfc1's reply.

You need to burn a CD with a program that support CD TEXT function.

It is relately new tech... not all the cdplayers support this fuction.

IN WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM,

NERO supprts it. ( you should use nero if you have Windows.. it's the best...)

Following program does not support the CD TEXT in Windows.

ITUNES

WINAMP WITH cd burning add on.

So if your cd player does not display the info.

1. you need to burn a cd in a cd text supported program.

2. your cd player might not supports it.

Good info...thanks!

Also, I've heard (but not actually tested) that the new Lexus IS, and the new Scions will display titles from burned CDs if you label the songs when you make the CD.
