  1. Hi, i'm new here and i have a question. I have a 1996 Corolla that has been great for a long time but i have run into a problem in the past few days. The drivers side rear door latch has been sticking and staying up in the door when i pull the latch and today i went to leave and i opened the door and now it wont go down at all. the first time it did this i just put some WD-40 on it and it was fine but now it doesn't move even at all. It is winter here in NY and is very cold where I am right now so i was wondering if it may have frozen up because i used the wrong lubricant or if maybe just moisture in the air got into the door mechanisms and froze up to make it so it won't move? I'm not sure but if you people out there have any suggestions to fix the problem for good, or at least for a while, that would be great! Thank you.
