  1. 2015 XLE, now just a year old. We live about 30 miles West of the Eastern/Central Time Zone Line. We Travel East, Often, to Knoxville and beyond. As the GPS knows Where We are all the time, We expected it would Update the Time on our Nav System Display. Our Garmin, which is about 4 years old, certainly Does. I have asked the Dealer now 3 times, service Dept. people don't seem to know, said they would find out, been months now. I asked the Salesman, he said he would find out, been about 8 days now. It really should not be that difficult to get an answer to this question. Service checked the System setting and said they were correct, they did a Firmware update about 6 months ago because the Nav System stopped updating location when traveling. I do not recall, for sure, but I believe the Clock did Update when we drove into the Eastern Time Zone before that change. Anyone Else Have an Answer
  2. Hi - I just put a new batterty in my 2004 Solara. Previously, the clock ran slightly fast. Now it is loosing about a minute every couple of days. Any suggestions?
  3. Hi I have recently acquired a 2000 echo. The audio unit in the car is a CD/Radio; Toyota model 31804. This is not the model shown in the owners manual. It shows H and M in white above the buttons for channels 1 and 2, shows 'set' above channel 3 and shows 'clock' above the AM/FM button. I was trying to reset the clock display and pressing combinations of these buttons, both with the radio on and with the radio off. Now the clock display seems to have disappeared and the display just shows the radio station number. Does anyone know (a) how to get the clock display back and (b) how to adjust the clock? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Bill
  4. I am an owner of a Toyota Matrix XR 2005. Need a little advice on how to determine which fuse needs replacing for my clock. My dome light is working, so I believe I have eliminated the #10. DOME 15 A as the culprit. I also noticed in the owners manual that there is a fuse for the clock in #18. TAIL 15 A and # 31. CIG 15 A . The lighter is operable so the latter should also be eliminated, unless of course a fuse can still be partially operable. This leaves No. 18 and it is a bitch to reach especially when your 54 years old and not quite as flexible as one was in their youth . Hopefully, someone knows how to easily take off the shell surrounding the area below the steering column without having to remove whole sections of the dash shell. PS. the clock is operating. I can see the time if partially cover the display and yes I have checked my dim switch [no I am not dim-witted ;).
