I have a 2000 Solara V6. My check engine light has recently come on and stays on. The car runs great and there are no other apparent symptoms of a problem. What can cause the light? If the oil and coolant levels are okay, is there any urgency to get the light checked out? I can't afford any major work now and would appreciate any insights you can give me. p.s. (A few months ago I got a valve job on the engine preformed by my dealer.)
