  1. Hi; Got my 86 running and on the road. The auto tranny has 245,000km/130000miles on it. There is a very fine spray of tranny oil coating some of the hoses that cross over above the tranny. I know it is tranny oil from the red colour. The spray is very low volume. I am checking the tranny regularly. It does not go down in 1000km/600miles. I cannot figure out where the leak is. Any suggestions appreciated.
  2. Hi; A friend is giving me her 86 corrolla wagon. Automatic, 241,000km. It failed aircare. Besides a leaking valve cover gasket, I am told it needs a new exhaust, especially the part that starts at the manifold and a new oxygen sensor, a modulator, (what is it and where is it?) and fuel pump. This what they were told by their mechanic. Any suggestions about possible problems, what to look for? thanks herman
