  1. Thanks to Leighcm for earlier responses. I just want to see if anybody else has any opinions, so am reposting the question a little differently. I want to take the front passenger seat out of my 2008 Toyota Yaris Hatchback. I just have simple front airbags, not side airbags. QUESTIONS: Is there a way to prevent the SRS Warning Light from staying on and Passenger Seat belt reminder light blinking? (These lights are described under the Front Passenger Occupant Classification System on p. 89 of the Owner's manual.) Is there a way to ensure the driver's airbag will work if there is an accident? Is there a plug-in module or modules that could do this? Thank you, B.
  2. Thanks for your responses Leighcm, Are there bypass modules that can be used to simulate an empty front passenger seat? Where could I get such a module? Bob
  3. Thanks again for your reply. What is TIS? What is something similar? Bob
  4. Thanks for the reply. What about the driver's seat belt pretensioner system? Would that work in an accident if the front passenger seat on a 2008 Toyota Yaris is removed? Thanks, Bob
  5. If the front passenger seat for a 2008 Yaris is removed, will the driver's airbag deploy if there is an accident? (I want to remove the front passenger seat to use the vehicle to camp.) Thank you, Bob
