  1. I've had Toyota Corollas for 12 years (amongst other vehicles), well I've had two ...the one I bought 12 years ago (which is now 16 years old) and the other 4 years ago (which is now 7 years old) and both which I use as everyday transport to this day. I am very pleased with the reliability. I find the after sales service (in Britain) to be superb.
  2. A couple of piccies from the UK 1982 Corolla Sales brochure Believe this model ran from 1978 to 1983
  3. I have now, The Mk1 :D I know it's a 'Rot box' but they seem more like a sports car in the old style. e.g. not that fast by todays standards but great fun and need a bit of working on due to there age (an MGB for the 21st Century ? )

    AE86

I know theres a lot of AE86 'Drifters' in the USA so thought i'd post up this UK 1986 Sales brochure picture up for you:
  5. The AE86 is not that good in standard form and needs a lot of suspension work for drifting, but I think when modified in the suspension department it truely is good for drifting. However for drifting/power sliding you don't won't something thats too good or controlable...wheres for fun in that ....
  6. The AE 86 is an ace version of the Corolla but for drifting i've wonder why people have never used cars which can be 'tail happy' such as Ford Capri, Opel Manta, Ford Mustang ... in fact the list could be long indeed. Have fun.

    Supra

Do they still have a version of Supra for their own home market?
  8. It's the Classic section of the Toyota Forum so I thought this Website would be of interest: http://www.age.to/~hot_olds/n.h.o.a/2004.htm A lot of it is in Japanese but it's still easy to understand. Let the good times roll.
  9. Hello everbody, I'm from Great Britian, nice to see there's now an American section of the Toyota club. Out of curiosity did they sell a version of Corolla GTi (AE92 model) built between 1987 -1992 in your country? It's the one with the 4AGE Engine. I know you had the earlier version the AE82 (sometimes called FX GT) and the AE 86 RWD version. Just wondered thats all (i've had one for about 12 years now).
