Accidently posted tis on the UK forums, hoping someone here might have a solution for me... Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with a new DVD head unit I'm trying to install (Kenwood ddx512) in my 2000 Celica. I have all the wires except the speaker wires connected correctly (as far as I know) and the unit has power and outputs sound (I have checked this with another speaker) however when I attach the unit to the stereo wires of my car I get no sound at all. The wiring diagrams I have found on the web don't match what is actually in my car entirely so that doesn't help (for example, I don't have a pink or violet wire in there) and I'm wondering if maybe there is a amp wire or something I need to attach somewhere? I hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help you can give me.
