well, you have to do more testing then just evaporator. i am given you all info how to diagnose picture below. YOU need to start diagnose from top to bottom with scan tool, good luck

I am not really clear what you're trying to say. So, you want your auto lock/unlock when you put in gear or park? If yes, then you have to reprogram it. Dealer should know how to do it.

why dont you wired it yourself? instead getting the right connector. there are only 2 wires

are you doing yourself? if you let someone doing it. labor cost is more than just replace the driver side only. why dont you buy a used one and put it on?
