  1. Just wondering if you got anywhere with your problem with the fan speed variations? If not, some suggestions: This didn't seem to begin until after they installed the remote starter system. I'm heard of some problems with after-market installation of those system screwing up some of the computer functions. Worth checking out - disconnect remote starter circuit and test. Additionally, a change in voltage would cause a change in the speed. A bad/loose ground connection could cause that. What was disconnected when they installed the remorte starter system? Did they tighten everything properly? Please post the present status of your car and if they found the cause, what it was so that other owners would be aware of what to look out for. Thanks. Hy
  2. I have an '05 Solara. In researching some other problems I had I came across some TSBs from Toyota concerning cars pulling left. Although I didn't have that problem, I read the TSBs. If I remember correctly, the repair had something to do with resettting the front springs within the the strut brackets and then doing a realignment. I think that in some cases the front springs and/or their supports had to be changed. If you research the TSBs I think you'll find the information. Your local library probably has access to "Mitchell-on-Demand" to get the info. Or, you call check with your local Toyota dealer. The car may still be under warrentee. Good luck. Hy.
  3. There has been a problem with Camrys and Solaras, and a few other models, pulling to one side or the other. Toyota has issued their dealers technical bulletins on the problems but, to my knowledge, no recalls or letters to owners. You can check the numbers of the TSBs on line. I think I saw another stream on this site about it. If you're out of warranty, you may get some help by calling Toyota Corporation customer service for help. Try being nice but firm: "You know there's a problem. I didn't. Please help." If that doesn't work, you may have to pay for the repair. Alignment alone won't correct the problem. Good luck from New York. Hy.
