  1. Hi all. I just bought a really clean '07 Camry LE with the 2.4 liter engine. The car has 140k miles and has been really well kept. The engine runs like new, but the throttle response is so abrupt that it's really difficult to get away from a stop smoothly. In rain, it's dangerous, and in the snow it would be undriveable (I live in Seattle, where it does snow, and has some serious hills!). I'm going to clean the throttle body, thinking the butterfly valve is sticking a bit. But if that doesn't work, I'm considering a custom program for the ECU that will change the throttle response. So my question is: has anyone else on here had this problem? Were you able to fix it? If so, how? Thanks in advance for any advice...... Scott
