I have a 2005 Highlander V6 XLE and a month or so ago it started making this loud buzzing sound on start up. If car has been sitting in hot sun loud usually doesnt appear. Sometimes after startup if sound didnt occur it will occur in first 5 minutes of driving. Sound usually lasts no more than 10 seconds. I have recorded it finally and adding a synch link to the movie file to see if anyone listening to this can tell me whats up. I guess I can go to dealer but unless technician who has heard it before hears it I am sure they will want to tear open the dash etc.
