From a dead stop as I step on the gas gas the engine suddenly revs up to 4-5K RPM. The only way to stop is to kill the ignition. Restart and it's back to normal. This is intermittent. I took it to my Toyota dealer and they ran a complete check and found nothing. They blame me saying I'm pushing the gas pedal too hard which is total nonsense. The service manager said unofficially that the worker who assembled the vehicle probably screwed something up. He said i should just trade it in.
What do you think the problem is?
