  1. I've had my 2021 HIghlander Platinum for just over a year now and have taken 3 Vacation/Trips where I used my Navigation system and on every single trip the map route was not the best route. At first I figured the map system needed to be updated but when I started researching the update I come to realize it's supposedly selecting the best route from "the cloud" but yet it has me making turns where a better route has me to go straight. The last trip I took I also had my WAZE app running and it had a better route. Anyone else having this issue?
  2. This chip boosted my performance. https://www.thortonchiptuning.com/product/toyota-performance-chip/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA3-yQBhD3ARIsAHuHT64YPBUrMG1AzkZFfc18chr8zBiViHHloJdjP-m8IRMmd1uTEvqZyigaAmwLEALw_wcB
  3. This is what I am hearing. Guess when it comes time to replace tires I'll have to look at my options. Now that Goodyear owns Cooper Tire I can consider them and still use my employee discounts.
  4. Just purchased my first Toyota, 2021 Highlander Premier, which came with Goodyear Eagle tires as original equipment. As a former Goodyear employee I was glad to finally see Goodyear on a new vehicle, my last three had Michelin, Continental and Pirelli in that order. After working for 25 years at Goodyear, mostly in sales, I am very familiar with the Eagle tire line which is known for great handling but not so much for tread life. What concern's me are the reviews I have read which gave low marks for handling as well as tread life. Just curious if any other Highlander owners that have Goodyear tires have any comments about the tires on their vehicle.
  5. Just purchased my new HIghlander Platinum Edittion and would agree. I to have had Hyundai's and they do have good quality cameras. However, as this is not used but just a few seconds I'm not that concerned. I probably would have stayed with Hyundai or Kia if they had inventory and I even considered the Genesis GV70 or 80 but the price is still to high for these new models. But overall 1st impression of my new SUV is a 👍.
  6. Just purchased my first Toyota, a 2021 Platinum Edition and I am totally satisifed so far. After having Hyundai for the past 12 years I was reluctant to switch but as Kia and Hyundai have major supply issues and the ones that do have vehicles have them marked up from $4000 to $10000 market adjustment I was able to get my new Highlander below MSRP as I told the dealer I was also considering a Honda Pilot and he beat the deal I had with them. I'll give an update at a later date as I put more miles on it.
  7. From my many years of working for Goodyear Tire, the Overall Diameter (OD) for your new tire is 34.8" while your old tire is 32.01. You went from a 65 series to a 75 series which would make the tire taller. See the attachments for the diagram as well as recommendations. Hope this helps.
