  1. The Tire Pressure sensors may have gone bad. They last six to seven years. I had same situation with my Lexus where I got a warning "Check your pressure monitoring system" which would not go away pressing any reset buttons. I found through forum like this I may have to change the sensors and did that. If you get them at a dealer, they will charge $50 or more for each one(You have to change all of them to be sure). I bought them on eBay and had them installed at a Costco like place. I know your message is different. If nothing else works, this may be a way. I was told you can also go to any tire shop and get this done.
  2. If I get a subwoofer installed with a speaker by a 3rd party Auto sound shop, will that make my warranty invalid? IF I get some future electrical issues in the car(unrelated to the sound system), will the dealer blame it on the sound system and not cover it? Any experience in this area?
  3. Last week I bought a 2021 Camry LE. It has no options. This was in Nort Carolina. I paid $22.300 + $900 Destination charge + $700 NC State Tax/Tag/Title = $24000 drive out price. If it helps, the Sticker was $27K(Though I am sure we dont care about that that much). Also, my comps were: -$22K for a 2020 Camry LE, Carmax (fixed price) + Tax($660)/Tag($40)/Title($100) with 26K miles. This was my main benchmark since I knew I could walk into Carmax and get this car for this price right away. Compared to this, what I paid for a 2021 Camry LE with 3 miles for $22.3K sounded very attractive. -$23K for a 2020 Camry LE, At a dealer(Based on my researching dealers and used cars, they reduce only $500 from used car prices), 24K miles -$20,600 for a 2020 camry LE, at a dealer wtih 20K miles. I am not listing all the advertised specials I noted down.
  4. Hi everyone, I just bought a 2021 Camry LE. My wife and I are retired and managed with one car given that we traveled a lot during the year outside USA. But with pandemic ending and with no travel plans for a year or so, and to have a car to run errands around the town, I got this second car. Thrilled so far. My other car is a 2007 Lexus and so the jump in safety, electronics, and interior is awesome. Not having driven a Camry in a very long time(decades), I am very pleasantly surprised by the pickup in the V4, excellent ride(soft, that I like), electronics(loving Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming etc), and the safety(lane assist, dynamic cruise control etc etc). If there is anything to complain about, it is the sound system. Not on par with a nice car like that. Can I have some professional add some 3rd party amp, subwoofer, better speakers without screwing up anything in the car? Thanks WanderL57
