  1. I was recently planning a trip with my 2017 highlander with most of the gas stations on the east cost out of gas. So I needed to rely on the range indication to plan the trip. With a full tank it was saying the range was only 250 miles. Based on the tank size of 19.2 Gal and my actual MPG of 26.3 I should easily get 450 miles. I thought as I started out on the 400 mile all hwy trip that the range indication wound start to adjust itself but it did not. It continues to fall during the trip. After 200 miles I had only used 6.6 gals. I topped off and the range now indicated 283 miles. Again after 200 miles of all hwy driving I had only used 1/4 tank again. Bottom line is the range indication is way way off. My dealer and Toyota is saying there is nothing they can do. My question is anyone else seeing this kind of discrepancy? All my other vehicles with a range indication are much more accurate.
