Nats matrix on the go

We went off-roading the OBD2 sensor came out of the exhaust and got cut off by the road the wires were hanging so we clipped them while the car was running and it killed the car we turned the car on and it wants to start it just doesn't want to kick into gear doesn't want to kick over all the way we replaced the sensor replaced the relay fuse in the OBD2 fuse what could be the problem
