Guday Everyone I have a Hi -Ace Commuter converted to a campervan .     it is built from commercial  Hi -Ace van extended then heightened for use  as a Minibus and an obvious choice  for people like my self who does not  like towing anything bigger than a 6x4 trailer.
I am 80 yrs young and I think this may be las my  conversion       My  first a Bedford Dormobile took my wife and I all over the UK  Then a Ford Thames 15wt which we called The PASON  our son was conceived in this van( hence the name)over the following  45-50 year we had an  array of vehicles which we converted,  We arrived in OZ and due to a couple of no blame accidents   finished as  unemployable' Never say never! I started  building again, but basic, we cook outside so no big  kitchen ,we have a small dinette , two single beds or one double,  all  in LWB Hi-ace which in top 5th gear needs a higher Diff . does anybody know of a higher interchangeable centre that is a bolt in swop   ANDY in OZ
