I just bought a 2018 Sienna to replace an '08 Uplander for towing my pop up camper. I love the Sienna but wondering if I made a mistake in terms of a minivan towing vehicle. Here's why.
I tried two sets of Firestone air bags on my Uplander which failed. I then got Monroe air shocks which worked great! For the '18 Sienna the ONLY option (other than 5-6k custom air suspension) appears to be blow up air bags for the rear springs: no air shocks, Sumo springs, or other non-inflating spring supports.
Does anyone know of any other affordable non-airbag rear suspension enhancement for the '18 Sienna LE? note, the Timbren system works on the '17 but not the '18.
