Can someone advise me as to how to fix my convertable top. I push the button to lower/raise the top,and I hear a click in the back ( where the motor is ) and nothing else. The windows go down like normal, but the top does not move. If I had a wiring diagram I could fix it. Someone told me there is a relay that becomes defective. Is this true? Thanks

What year Solara is it?

does the solara have a partition section for the boot? if so, the roof wont go down if you dont have that across...

Also, this might sound a little silly, but have you unclipped the front?

There is no partition section for the boot. It is a 2001. Originally it was in the down position, and I had to hand pull it up.
