Hi All, new to the forum. I recently (this saturday) had water in my Highlander due to my teenage son's negligence (gas from a lawn mower can of dubious quality). Long short is it stalled on him on the way home and would not restart. Got it home, it had maybe 1/10th of a tank or a little more. I figured it was water so I bought some Riselone water treatment to combine with the water and get it out. After about 3-4 hours, a new full tank of gas (lots of clean from MY can) and a few shots of statrer fluid and it fired up, ran rough for about 30 minutes then smoothed out. I'm getting a P0305 code (misfire on cylinder 5) but it seems to be running good. I erased the codes and drop for anotehr 45 minutes or so and the code cam back on.
Question is, will it eventually reset? I also used injector cleaner. I'm hoping it will clean up as it gets driven more and the code go away.
Any advice?
Jack
