  1. Hi, I have an (gasoline) '86 Camry that I just did a basic tune up to. Cap, rotor, wires, plugs, air filter... but when I have it in (automatic) gear, reverse or drive... and when I'm at a stand still... the engine seems to vibrate excessivly. When I give it gas and proceed to drive the car it runs and drives smooth and nice. Transmission shifts great too. I checked and adjusted the timing by jumping out the correct terminals... timing is at around 16, 10 when jumpered. Also worth noting, when the AC is on and the compressor is activated, engine seems to run just fine. When the compressor deactivates, I get the same vibration as described above. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks, Dan
