oper the driver's side door turn the key on then off under the dash to the on the left side wall infront of the parking break there is a red button push the button three times the horn beeps twice no more unnecessary beep when you lock or unlock the door

I disconnected my battery to clean off some corrosion. Since the reconnect, the horn beeps each time I lock or unlock the doors with the keyless entry. I found a thread back in 2007 when I first purchased the truck describing how to reprogram the security system to turn the beep off. I followed the steps and turned the beep off. Unfortunately I do not remember the steps or where I located the thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, JP
