2001 Tacoma Freeway Engine Sputter

I own a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 XtraCab with 128,600 miles on it. It has been running smooth till recently it started to Sputter or briefly lose power on the freeway around 70mph. It has had routine tune ups and oil changes.

Does anyone know what might be the cause of this, it seems to be getting worse.

Have you changed your fuel filter yet? Check for any loose vacuum hoses, especially those under the throttle body. Try cleaning for your MAF sensor too, that may help.
