Newbie Post !!

Hi there!   Just wanted to do the right "newbie" thing to do and introduce myself to the group in this, my very first post.   I've been reading so many useful posts I'm excited to see what a huge wealth of knowledge is right here at my fingertips!  I've already improved my knowledge and definitely boosted my confidence in tackling some tasks that I would have previously just handed over to a mechanic (along with my wallet) and hoped for the best.  

I'm no mechanical genius by any means.  Years ago if I had car trouble, if the engine was still there when I opened the hood; I had pretty much done all I could do.  I never did figure out where blinker fluid goes, or how to tell when it's low.   lol      (Lame, I know)     But since then, I've managed to work my way up from simple oil changes, to brake jobs, starter & alternator diagnosis, replacement, and repair, installing lift kits, etc.   I just want to improve my knowledge and skills and from the looks of it, there's a ton of smart people here that I can learn a ton from, so excited about that for sure!

I currently have two Toyotas.  One I'm pretty sure came over on the Mayflower.  It's a 93 Pickup 2wd 4cyl with a 22R-E engine.  And the other is a 2000 4Runner 2wd.  Currently having issues with both.   Hopefully you guys will be able to give me some pointers and guide me back to driving bliss!   Sorry about the crazy long intro newbie post too.  I'm originally from the South.  That's my excuse.  Feel free to tell me to just get to the freakin point already!  lol
