Celica convertible

I have a 1999 Celica GT convertible. On the forward door post, driver's side, is a sticker put on by the Long Beach, CA coach builder, ASC, who took the coupes and made them into convertibles. The sticker states, "Production #1". I've been told by someone who should know that that sticker denotes this car as the first production convertible of 1999, the last year Toyota made the Celica convertible. Can anyone confirm that or do all ASC stickers say, "Production #1"?

Thank you. Wm.Tuck
