1970 Toyota Corona

hello,

i joined this forum because i have a 1970 Toyota Corona that had just come into my posession.

not sure if i should do work on it and risk devaluing the vehicle.

it is a fully running vehicle. is it even worth restoring any further? ie: rechroming?

where can i get it appraised.

any information would be appreciated.

thanks.

thanks for your reply leighcm.

the owner was a lady who was bed ridden for many years. the car was in the care of her husband; my neighbor.

it was kept very well. i guess i'll doll her up with new chrome and see what happens.

in BC, a car has to be at least 25 years old to get collector's status. so, i'll be applying for that.

it's amazing how these toyotas still run.

dude,

but isn't that the idea. it is to drive it.

everything is OEM on this thing. that's why i'm kind of hesitant on rechroming some parts of it.

i'll have to put a little more thought into it first.
