On the highway last week - a piece of tire tread flew up, smacked my bumper and knocked the front right sonar sensor into the bumper housing of my 2007 Sienna. It is still attached to its harness but the outer bumper retaining ring is destroyed. My dealer wants $350 to repair it - and I know there must be a better alternitive from somebody who has repaired a damaged sensor. Is it possible to repair or do I need to replace ??
