Geoper Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 My 1996 Tacoma truck failed smog due to high NOX. This points to a defective or clog EGR valve. I just could not find the EGR valve in my truck. I've researched online, read the Chilton's manual but still puzzled! Are there any 3.4L 5VZ-FE engines with no EGR valve?
