We have a 2014 Venza Limited. Now on our third battery in less than 40,000 miles. Car is garaged every night.

I know my 2014 Venza Limited will be the last Toyota I will ever buy. The map update issue/cost is just another reason why.

Not sure why the variance in mileage but your ignition system is good for many more miles. I have nearly 140k on my plugs in my Lexus. There are no points, rotors, rotor caps in newer cars. Each cylinder has its own firing system. If one of those goes bad, you will know immediately. I rather doubt there is anything wrong there. Between seasons mileage tends to vary a bit.
