Just purchased the 2013 Avalon XLE Touring Hybrid and love it. Wanted the 2012 Avalon, but my 6'6" hubby's knees were up against the glove compartment on the passenger side. Surprisingly, the 2013 was a much better fit on passenger side for him. Also loved my 2003 Avalon XLS, but with 265K+ miles and some start issues, it was time to go. I loved the comfort (drive and ride) and dependability of the '03 Avalon. The 2013 has a smaller interior compared to the '03, but am happy thus far. I feel like Rip Van Winkle who was awaken from a slumber to find out alot has changed in automotive technology.
