  1. There is a small red LED about 3 inches left of the steering column outside the instrument cluster in my wife's car. It is lighted 24/7 and I have no idea what it is for. Bought the vehicle new so there are no modifications whatsoever. Nothing is in the owners manual or even acknowledging its existence. I attempted to trick it into doing somethings by tripping the alarm from both fobs and as many combinations as I could and it id not even flicker. It just stays on. No identification whatsoever. Since I seldom drive this vehicle I did not notice it until I was in the dark garage and it became quite obvious.
  2. This noise started when it was out of warranty. It is my wife's car and I have a Lexus. I don't drive the Camry until I need to and then I adjust the seat. Everything works fine mechanically except for the noise I lubed the spiral gear under the adjustment mechanism with oil. It had a strange quirk when it somehow made the noises depending on the temperature outside. I don't exactly remember how it started, it was so many years ago. Since I don't drive the car and my wife keeps the seat at her adjustment, we just live with it. Any ideas how to silence the noise without taking the seat apart--which I will no attempt.
