Hi all, I have a Yaris 1.4d4d (diesel). I recently had to jump start my car due to not using it for a few weeks. (had to disconnect the battery at first.) After this, the car drives and starts as normal. However, I now have the amber engine warning indicator light showing up since. Has anyone experienced this at all? Could it be a coincidence that the battery was disconnected? Please let me know if you have had a similar experience and what it was. If not, I'll have to have it checked by Toyota. Hi All, I own a fantastic ice blue yaris 1.4 D4D. I have been searching for an auto repair manual for general interest and also to carry out certain small tasks as per pleasure of owning it. My one problem is that the "Haynes" series state Petrol on their manuals, mine is Diesel. Apart from what I put in the car in the form of fuel, would there be too much of a difference if I bought the petrol manual to show where most things are? Is that a problem? Or does anyone know of a auto repair book covering Diesel. Sorry to be a pain everyone! Thanks, W.
