Hello, I'm new to the forum, because I'm lost as far as foreign car knowledge. As the title states, 1989 Tercel 1.5l with a bad carb (I think) Car starts and runs but if you touch the gas, it's like shutting the car off. Happened all of a sudden, didn't get progressively worse over time. Changed fuel filter, fuel pump- no different. Just did full tune up before problem started (probably 1000 miles ago) Cap, rotor, wires, plugs, air and fuel filter. Pulled the plugs to find all in good shape. Any ideas?
