I've recently purchased a 2001 Avalon LX. I noticed that when I hit small to medium size bumps in the road I hear a clunking sound from somewhere in the rear end. I did some research and found a few posts suggesting it was the rear sway bar bushings and that it is a common problem with Toyota sedans. Could this be the case? Also I'm hearing a strange sound from the front when I hit bumps that sounds almost like a blow out valve on a turbo. A rushing air sound that lasts for barely a second. Lastly, I can't seem to find any performance or cosmetic aftermarket parts. I know several mechanical parts are interchangeable with the Lexus ES300 and the Camry but is there a good source of cosmetic products out there? Such as euro lighting, body kits, etc? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.
